TSC TH240 series
The TH240 desktop thermal-transfer barcode printer offers high-quality performance at an affordable price. Based on the bestselling TTP-247, it prints up to four inches wide at 203 dpi and eight inches per second. The TH340 model prints at 300 dpi and up to six inches per second. Both have 128 MB SDRAM and 128 MB built-in Flash, expandable via an SDHC card reader.
Standard interfaces include USB 2.0, RS-232 and Ethernet. TSPL-EZ supports other TSC printer languages and provides TPLE (Eltron®) and TPLZ (Zebra®) emulation, automatically detecting and translating incoming label formats. It also offers built-in scalable TrueType fonts powered by Monotype®, normally found on more expensive printers.
Like its predecessor, the TH240 series has a user-friendly clamshell design for easy media loading and a rugged double-walled housing. Its two-motor design supports 300-metre ribbons and label rolls up to five inches in outer diameter.
The TH240 series accommodates rolls up to five inches OD, or full 8.4-inch OD rolls on three-inch cores with an optional external holder. Its capabilities and accessible price make it a compelling thermal-transfer barcode printer.
